Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asset Manager for a portfolio of retail and commercial assets in Brisbane. You will oversee end-to-end property management, drive performance, and maintain strong client and tenant relationships.

The role requires 5+ years in asset management, knowledge of lease contracts, rent reviews, and proficiency in Cirrus8, RP Data, and MS Office. A real estate licence and driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in retail or commercial asset mgmt.
• Knowledge of lease contracts and rent reviews.
• Real estate licence or registration required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property management.
• Coordinate maintenance via preferred contractors.
• Monitor rental arrears in line with KPIs.
• Manage lease events: renewals, expiries, rent reviews.
• Prepare annual budgets and track lease dates.
• Lead client relationships and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with leasing agents to reduce vacancies.
• Ensure compliance, insurance, and risk registers.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and asset proposals.
• Support new business development with presentations.
