Australian Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician or Advanced Apprentice (3rd/4th Year or Qualified) to join our team in Arncliffe, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of vehicles and systems within a professional automotive service environment. You will be responsible for performing technical repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance work to the highest standards, contributing to our reputation for quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role offers the chance to develop your technical expertise further whilst working alongside experienced professionals in a modern automotive facility.

What you'll be doing

• Performing diagnostic tests and repairs on vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
• Conducting scheduled maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections and fluid top-ups
• Identifying faults using diagnostic equipment and tools, and implementing appropriate solutions
• Dismantling and reassembling engine and transmission components with precision and care
• Following manufacturer specifications and technical manuals to ensure quality workmanship
• Maintaining accurate service records and work documentation for all repairs completed
• Ensuring workplace health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Collaborating with other team members to support efficient workshop operations
• Continuing professional development through training and skill advancement

What we're looking for

• Current completion of 3rd or 4th year automotive apprenticeship, or fully qualified automotive technician status
• Sound knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficiency in the use of diagnostic equipment and hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and service manuals
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• A valid driver's licence and willingness to test drive vehicles
