Job summary

TG Automotive in Miranda, NSW is seeking two Apprentice Automotive Mechanics to begin your career in the automotive trades. You will work alongside experienced technicians to develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge in vehicle maintenance, repair and diagnostics, while completing formal apprenticeship qualifications.

This full-time role offers hands-on training in a well-equipped workshop, with a supportive team focused on safety, quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assisting experienced mechanics with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair tasks
• Learning to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
• Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and tyre rotations
• Assisting to disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicle components under supervision
• Safely using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment per health and safety guidelines
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation for completed work
• Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe at all times
• Attending formal training sessions and completing required coursework as part of the apprenticeship
• Following all workplace safety procedures and contributing to a positive team environment

TG Automotive is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Automotive Mechanics. This is a full-time position based in Miranda, NSW 2228, offering an excellent opportunity to begin your career in the automotive trades. As an Apprentice Automotive Mechanic, you will work alongside experienced technicians to develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge in vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics. This role is fundamental to our operations, allowing you to gain hands-on experience whilst contributing to our reputation for quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Assisting experienced mechanics with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair tasks

Learning to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment

Performing routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and tyre rotations
