Job summary

JETOUR Australia is seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to develop and deliver practical, technically accurate training for our dealer technicians in Sydney. You will cover vehicle systems, ADAS, hybrid, and high-voltage tech, delivering instructor-led, virtual and workplace-based learning.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or ability to obtain within agreed timeframe.
• Australian automotive trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanic).
• Hands-on dealership/OEM or specialist experience diagnosing mechanical/electrical faults.
• Demonstrated ability to teach using wiring diagrams and technical publications.
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills with ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Sound digital literacy across scan tools, diagnostic platforms, LMS and MS 365.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led, virtual and workplace-based technical training.
• Demonstrate diagnosis and repair techniques using approved tools and data.
• Adapt explanations to participant experience while maintaining objectives.
• Manage class timing, rotations and learner support; document outcomes.
• Review courseware for Australian relevance and accuracy.
• Develop or localise presentations, materials and digital-learning content.
• Conduct assessments consistently using approved tools and conditions.
• Prepare training vehicles, equipment and learning spaces.
• Complete pre-course checks, risk assessments and briefings.
• Gather feedback and analyze data to improve content and delivery.
