Job summary

NextGen HR Pty Ltd is seeking an Automotive Technician / Automotive Electrician for our Artarmon, NSW client. You will perform Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibrations to OEM standards and support high‑quality diagnostics in a permanent, full‑time position.

The role combines hands‑on calibration work with customer servicing, equipment care, and participation in ongoing training. Career progression and leadership opportunities are available within the ADAS trade.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Electrical, Mechanical Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as Auto Electrician, Automotive Mechanic, or OEM dealership technician.
• Strong background in vehicle diagnostics and calibration.
• ADAS certifications from OEMs or equipment suppliers are highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ADAS calibrations to high standards following established processes.
• Address customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain calibration equipment and report issues to Calibration Manager.
• Research OEM repair methods and attach to calibration reports.
• Complete calibration reports following standard procedures for handling sensitive information.
• Adhere to WHS and store/secure calibration tools properly.
• Support branch growth by engaging with local collision repairers.
• Attend ADAS training and industry forums to stay current.
