Job summary

Carma in Sydney is seeking an Automotive Team Lead to steer the production group and keep operations at peak performance. You will direct daily priorities, uphold quality, and mentor a growing team to hit targets on schedule.

Working with other production leads and the department manager, you’ll drive efficiency, refine workflows, and ensure safety. A current NSW driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading or supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
• Proven track record in quality assurance with a methodical approach.
• Process-driven and organised; skilled at refining workflows.
• Excellent communication with clear, direct feedback to team and management.
• Current NSW driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily priorities for the operational team to meet delivery deadlines and target output.
• Execute comprehensive quality checks and be the go-to expert for your production stage.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of specialists, driving excellence in performance, training, and safety.
• Motivate and drive a high-output team to hit daily targets.
• Proactively identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks or WIP lag to ensure consistent operational flow.
