National Capital Motors is Canberra's leading family-owned motor vehicle dealer group, with focus on career development and guest satisfaction. We are seeking a Service Department Manager to lead a team of technicians, advisors, and support staff in a fast-paced workshop.

You will manage daily operations, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure performance aligned with KPI targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service department experience required.
• Ability to manage the performance of others, fostering teamwork and empowering others to succeed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of service department related processes.
• Mechanical and product knowledge of automotive industry.
• High attention to detail and sound organizational skills.
• Results oriented and decisive in decision making.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of works.
• Current and valid manual driver licence.
• Neat and professional appearance reflecting business standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of staff in the daily management of the Service department.
• Oversee technicians, advisors and support staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and information within KPI’s.
• Hands-on role and work with the team from time to time.
• Ensure workshop operates with approved processes and standards.
