South Nowra Motor Group in Nowra, NSW is seeking an Automotive Technician to service, diagnose and repair a range of MG, Honda, Suzuki and used vehicles. Qualified technicians or 3rd/4th year apprentices are encouraged to apply to join a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is completed accurately and safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.

South Nowra Motor Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop team. We also strongly encourage 3rd and 4th year Automotive Apprentices to apply.

Representing MG, Honda and Suzuki, as well as servicing a wide range of used vehicles, this is a great opportunity to work across multiple brands, expand your technical knowledge and build a long-term career within our dealership group.

About the Role

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and maintenance across a variety of vehicles.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Performing vehicle inspections and identifying required repairs
• Working across MG, Honda, Suzuki and used vehicles
• Using modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop
• Working closely with our Service Advisors, Technicians and Workshop Management

About You

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and wants to continue developing their skills.

You will ideally have:

• A relevant automotive trade qualification or be currently completing your 3rd or 4th year Automotive Apprenticeship
• Experience working in an automotive workshop environment
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• A commitment to quality workmanship and safety
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• A willingness to learn and undertake ongoing manufacturer training
