Coastal Auto Group in Moruya, NSW is seeking a qualified Mechanic/Technician for a full-time role with no weekend work. You’ll join a family‑oriented dealership serving the South Coast with a focus on quality service.

The role covers servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension. You’ll work Monday to Friday, with opportunities for training and career growth in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic with a current NSW trade qualification.
• Experience with engines, transmissions, brakes and suspension.
• Current NSW driver's licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical and servicing advice to customers.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles in line with dealership and manufacturer warranty processes, standards and guidelines.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and on time.
• Deliver excellent, friendly customer service.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
• Use computer systems for daily business communication, job tracking and record keeping.

The Role

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. Wage is negotiable based on experience.

You will:

• Provide expert mechanical and servicing advice to customers
• Diagnose and repair vehicles in line with dealership and manufacturer warranty processes, standards, and guidelines
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and on time
• Deliver excellent, friendly customer service
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment
