Job summary

Carma in Sydney is seeking an Automotive Operations All-Rounder to support end-to-end workflow coordination, quality checks and getting vehicles customer-ready. Based at our St Peters site, you’ll juggle priorities and contribute to daily momentum with hands-on inspection, data logging and car detailing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment is preferred.
• Interest in cars or willingness to learn about automotive operations.
• Comfort with using technology and learning new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cars for signs of damage.
• Assist with repairs and bring ideas to the team.
• Log vehicle details into the system using an iPad.
• Wash, buff and detail interiors and exteriors.
• Relocate cars between production and storage facilities.
• Support day-to-day tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Join us as an Automotive Operations All-Rounder and step into a role where you’ll build real expertise—not just in cars, but in the behind-the-scenes operations that bring every Carma vehicle to life. From supporting end-to-end workflow coordination to assisting with quality checks and getting vehicles customer-ready, you’ll be at the heart of our daily momentum.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection: Meticulously inspect Carma cars for any signs of damage
• Repair: Learn our repair techniques to make sure all cars look amazing - and bring your own repair methods to the team - we’re open to ideas!
• Data logging: Swiftly and accurately log vehicle details into the system- we will provide you with your own iPad!
• Car washing: Make our vehicles shine! Wash, buff, and detail interiors and exteriors to perfection.
• Relocation: Keep things moving by relocating cars between our production and storage facilities
• Support: Be our go-to helper. Assist with day-to-day tasks to keep operations running smoothly

Okay, let’s talk about you:

• You have some experience working in a fast paced, hands on environment (doesn’t need to be automotive!)
• You have an interest in cars - or are keen to learn more.
• You’re comfortable using tech (especially Apple products) and can get the hang of new systems quickly.
• You’re open to learning new ways of doing things.
• You like to work on your feet, with different priorities everyday - juggle multiple things at once doesn't bother you.
• You’ve got an eye for detail and take pride in high-quality work.
• You have a valid NSW drivers licence.

In this role you’ll be based in our St Peters worksite, with plenty of room for parking and train/ bus stops nearby.
