Job summary

Carma is seeking a Vehicle Quality Inspector for our Sydney office. You’ll inspect inbound vehicles inside and out, test features, log details, and help keep cars moving through the production flow.

You’ll bring automotive environment experience, a keen eye for detail, comfort with Apple products, and a willingness to learn new systems. A NSW driver’s licence is required, joining a growing team with training and progression.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound vehicles inside and out and spot scratches, dents, or stains.
• Test vehicle features (windows, locks, infotainment, etc.) to ensure proper function.
• Record details accurately in our systems to meet Carma standards.
• Follow step-by-step procedures to keep cars, workflows, and the team running smoothly.
• Support the wider automotive production team with general tasks and car movement.

Join Carma as an Vehicle Quality Inspector and be the expert eye behind every picture-perfect, road-ready car. You’ll inspect, assess, and record each detail to make sure every vehicle looks great, drives perfectly, and meets our high Carma standards — ready to delight its next owner.

What you'll be doing?

• Inspect like a pro: Carry out thorough checks on inbound vehicles inside and out. Spotting anything from scratches, dents to stains.
• Test every feature: Make sure all vehicle functions (windows, locks, infotainment systems, you name it) are working just as they should.
• Record with precision: Log every detail accurately in our systems to ensure each car meets Carma standards.
• Process perfectionist: Work through our step-by-step procedures with precision, helping keep cars, workflows, and the team running smoothly.
• Support: Support the wider automotive production team moving cars around, washing cars and general tasks as required.

Okay, let’s talk about you:

• You have some experience working in an automotive environment, whether it is within a workshop, retail, or insurance.
• You have an interest in cars - or are keen to learn more.
• You’re comfortable using tech (especially Apple products) and can get the hang of new systems quickly.
• You’re open to learning new ways of doing things.
• You like to work on your feet, with different priorities everyday - juggle multiple things at once doesn't bother you.
• You’ve got an eye for detail and take pride in high-quality work.
• You have a valid NSW drivers licence.

In this role you’ll be based in our St Peters, office, with room for parking and train/ bus stops nearby.
