Job summary

SuperChoice is seeking an Automation Tester to join the Engineering team in Sydney. This is a hands-on automation role, requiring practical experience developing, executing and maintaining automated tests using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.

You'll collaborate across teams in Agile/Kanban, perform manual testing when needed, and contribute to test strategy and documentation while enjoying hybrid working and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years hands-on software testing experience with demonstrated test automation.
• Hands-on experience developing, executing, maintaining and troubleshooting automated test scripts.
• Practical experience using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and Postman.
• Experience with automation frameworks and Agile/Kanban development methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using BDD/TDD frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design test scenarios and analyze user stories.
• Perform manual testing when required to support automation efforts.
• Manage tickets with progress updates and documentation.
• Share testing progress and outcomes with the team.
• Partner with Production Support and Technical Operations to ensure testable applications.
