Job summary

Babylon Data invites experienced Functional Automation Test Analysts to support a major government digital transformation program in Canberra. You will deliver both manual and automated testing across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, building UI and API regression tests and integrating them into Azure DevOps pipelines.

The role requires strong testing across UI, API, integration and Dataverse solutions, plus a Baseline security clearance and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in

Qualifications

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform apps, incl. Power Pages, Power Apps or Dataverse.
• Strong experience across UI, functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining automated UI test suites using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar frameworks.
• API and integration test automation using Postman/Newman, REST API testing or equivalent tools.
• Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, source control and defect management.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements.
• Design test strategies, scenarios, cases and test data.
• Conduct UI, functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing.
• Test Dynamics 365, Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated UI regression tests.
• Automate API, integration and authentication-flow testing.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps build and release pipelines.
• Manage defects from investigation to closure.
• Maintain test evidence, traceability and quality metrics.
• Support end-to-end validation of complex processes.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product owners.
• Move between projects and testing phases as priorities change.
