Job summary

Vertical Scope Group in Canberra is seeking an experienced Functional Automation Tester to join our testing practice supporting a major Australian Government digital transformation program. You will work across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, combining manual and automated testing to ensure UI, API and integration readiness, with automated regression testing embedded into CI/CD pipelines.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements with flexible office and WFH options and a 12-month contract

Qualifications

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Pages and Dataverse.
• Strong in manual and automated testing across UI, API, integration, and regression.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro) including UI and API testing.
• Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with VS Code, Azure DevOps, source control, defect/test management; understanding SDLC and Agile.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute and maintain manual and automated test cases across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.
• Perform functional, UI, integration, system, regression and UAT testing across web and enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain automated UI regression test suites using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar frameworks.
• Conduct API and integration testing using Postman/Newman, REST Assured or Playwright API testing.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support automated build and release validation.
• Manage defects, test results and reporting while working with developers, business stakeholders and multidisciplinary Agile teams.
