Job summary

Compas is seeking an Automation Test Analyst to deliver manual and automated testing across Dynamics 365 & Power Platform for a major government portal program. Hybrid – Canberra preferred, 12-month contract with potential extensions.

Responsibilities include UI regression testing, API testing, and CI/CD integration within Azure DevOps; Baseline clearance required; Closing date 23 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform apps (Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse).
• Strong UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing experience.
• Test automation using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, or similar; API testing with Postman/Newman or REST Assured.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, VS Code, source control, defect/test management, SDLC, and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute and maintain automated UI regression tests across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

Automation Test Analyst | Dynamics 365 & Power Platform

Deliver manual and automated testing across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications, with a strong focus on UI/API regression automation and CI/CD integration within a major government digital portal program.

Location: ACT

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – flexible office / WfH, Canberra preferred

Contract Duration: 12 months, with possible 2 x 12-month extensions

Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline

Closing Date: 10.00am, 23 September 2026

Essential Tasks

• Analyse requirements, design test scenarios, execute tests, manage defects and support end-to-end business process validation.


• Design, develop, execute and maintain automated UI regression tests across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.


• Automate API and integration testing across backend services, integrations and authentication flows.


• Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and support testing across concurrent projects.

Key Criteria

• Experience testing Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse.


• Strong experience across UI, functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing.


• Test automation experience using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar, plus API testing tools such as Postman/Newman or REST Assured.
