Job summary

Nu-Pure Beverages is seeking an experienced Electrical / Automation Technician at our Stapylton site to maintain, troubleshoot and optimise electrical and automation systems. You will work with production and maintenance teams to enhance equipment reliability, safety and performance.

The role focuses on fault-finding across PLCs, HMIs and SCADA, with opportunities to influence plant reliability, upgrade projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• A current Electrical Licence.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems.
• Fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and collaborative approach.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults across PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VSDs and control equipment.
• Maintain and improve electrical and automation systems across the site.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning and automation projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in root cause investigations and implement long-term solutions.
• Maintain electrical drawings, software backups and technical documentation.
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Provide technical support and coaching to operators and maintenance team members.
