Job summary

Daifuku Oceania is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our on-site maintenance team at Melbourne Airport. You will work on large-scale automated baggage handling systems, performing diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance in live operations.

Collaborating with engineers and other trades, you will uphold safety and quality, and support automation improvements. The ideal candidate has a Certificate III in Electrical Trade, PLC/motor control knowledge, and thrives in a 24/7

Qualifications

Trade-qualified Electrician (Certificate III or equivalent).
Experience with industrial machinery, automation systems, and electrical schematics.
Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
Exposure to conveyors, hydraulics, or automated systems.
Ability to work calmly in a live operational environment.
Strong communication and team-first attitude.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
