Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics seeks a Maintenance & Operations Manager to lead the setup and ongoing operation of a state-of-the-art automated distribution facility in Western Sydney, NSW. You will build the team, establish processes, and drive performance across uptime, reliability and safety to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in automated logistics or industrial settings.
• Experience scaling a new service operation or facility.
• Strong maintenance management and asset lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams with safety focus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiar with TPS, Lean, Six Sigma or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish, recruit, onboard and develop a maintenance/ops team.
• Lead transition from project delivery to ongoing operations.
• Drive KPI performance: uptime, OEE, reliability, safety, customer satisfaction.
• Develop maintenance strategies, asset management and spare parts processes.
• Be primary customer contact for performance, service delivery, escalations.
• Utilise data and CMMS to optimise maintenance effectiveness.
