Job summary

Halfords Designate Centre Manager – Wakefield Area is a key leadership role within our Autocentre business. You will oversee in-centre teams, support multiple centres within a travel radius, and drive customer experience alongside operational performance.

The role requires excellent leadership, a coaching approach, strong financial acumen, and a valid driving licence. You will contribute to an inclusive culture focused on delivering service excellence and safety compliance across centres.

Qualifications

Proven leadership and team management within automotive or similar industry.
Track record of delivering high customer satisfaction.
Engaging, coaching-based approach to team development.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop in-centre teams across designated Wakefield area.
Support local centres within reasonable travel time; ensure centres operate professionally.
Drive customer experience improvements and ensure safety and compliance.
Manage centre performance, KPI delivery and profitability.
