Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Trade-qualified Auto Electrician for a workshop-based role in Welshpool, Western Australia. You will support workshop operations, performing installations, assemblies, rebuilds and commissioning on mining machinery.

No prior mining machinery experience is required as training and upskilling will be provided. You will work a Monday–Friday roster with some Saturdays, in a well-equipped, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician.
• Automotive Air Conditioning License is advantageous.
• Forklift & Dogging Licences are beneficial.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Fault-finding and diagnostic skills desirable.
• Safety-first mindset; able to work independently in a workshop.

Responsibilities

• Support workshop operations including installations, assemblies, rebuilds and commissioning.
• Operate in a Welshpool workshop with focus on safety and quality.
• Learn and apply mining machinery knowledge with on-the-job training.

Industry leading OEM company with an international presence in surface & underground mining. They have a high-performing maintenance team with a great work culture. The role will see you support workshop operations, doing installations, assembly, rebuilds, and commission works. No prior experience on mining machinery is required – training and upskilling will be provided. Take ownership of your work in a stable, well-equipped Welshpool workshop.
