Job summary

Tefol Pty Ltd in Mackay QLD is seeking an Auto Electrician - Leading Hand for our workshop. You will perform repairs, maintenance and electrical installations across transport, automotive and mining sectors with a hands-on approach.

The role requires 1+ years in a similar role, appropriate trade qualifications, and the ability to read plans, supervise a team and manage workflow while delivering quality service to customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' qualified experience in a similar role.
• Appropriate trade qualifications (Statement of Attainment).
• Proven ability to provide quality customer service outcomes.
• Experience in transport or mining OEMs such as CAT, Komatsu and/or Hitachi (highly regarded).
• Ability to read plans and produce detailed quality work.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an Auto Electrician - Leading Hand for our Mackay QLD workshop with experience in auto electrical services associated to the transport, automotive, andmining industry. You will be undertaking repairs, maintenance and new electrical installations with a range of duties. You will have a practical, hands on approach withexcellent attention to detail and have experience supervising a team and allocating and managing work flow.

Ability to read plans and produce detailed quality work

Provide fault finding, repairs and maintenance on light and heavy vehicles, on-highway trucks and ancillary equipment

A broad range of electrical repairs and maintenance

About you

1 + years' qualified experience in a similar role

Appropriate trade qualifications (Statement of Attainment)

Proven ability to provide quality customer service outcomes

Proven problem solving ability with strong work ethic and attention to detail

Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements

Experience in transport or mining OEM's such as CAT, Komatsu and / or Hitachi (highly regarded)

A great hourly rate that is well ABOVE Industry standards
