Job summary

Thiess is seeking a trade-qualified Auto Electrician to join the Caval Ridge Mine maintenance team. You will perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on mobile mining equipment, diagnosing faults and ensuring maximum equipment reliability on a 7/7 rotating roster.

You'll hold a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology, with experience on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment, and you will contribute to a safety-first culture with ongoing training and career development opportunities

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• Experience working on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on mobile mining equipment.
• Complete planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and component change-outs to a high standard.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults whilst conducting inspections to maximise equipment reliability and availability.

The Opportunity

Are you a trade-qualified Auto Electrician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills and a passion for maintaining world-class mining equipment? Thiess is seeking an experienced and motivated Auto Electrician to join our high-performing team at Caval Ridge Mine.

As a key member of the Caval Ridge Maintenance team, you'll be responsible for supporting safe, reliable and efficient fleet performance through the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of mobile mining equipment.

Roster: 7/7 Rotating Days & Nights | Location: Caval Ridge Mine, QLD | Employment Type: Full Time Permanent

As the Auto Electrician, you will:

• Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on mobile mining equipment.
• Complete planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and component change-outs to a high standard.

About you
