Thiess is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join the Caval Ridge Mine team. You will perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on mobile mining equipment, diagnose electrical faults and support safe, reliable fleet performance.

The role requires expertise in fault-finding and inspections to maximise equipment uptime. Roster is 7/7 rotating days and nights at Caval Ridge Mine, QLD with full-time permanent employment.

Competenze

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
• Experience on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.

Mansioni

• Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on mobile mining equipment.
• Complete planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and component change-outs to a high standard.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults whilst conducting inspections to maximise equipment reliability and availability.

The Opportunity

Are you a trade-qualified Auto Electrician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills and a passion for maintaining world-class mining equipment? Thiess is seeking an experienced and motivated Auto Electrician to join our high-performing team at Caval Ridge Mine.

As a key member of the Caval Ridge Maintenance team, you'll be responsible for supporting safe, reliable and efficient fleet performance through the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of mobile mining equipment.

Roster: 7/7 Rotating Days & Nights | Location: Caval Ridge Mine, QLD | Employment Type: Full Time Permanent

As the Auto Electrician, you will:

• Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on mobile mining equipment.
• Complete planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and component change-outs to a high standard.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults whilst conducting inspections to maximise equipment reliability and availability.

About you

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
• Experience working on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment, with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
