Job summary

Marble Recruitment is seeking Auto Electricians for underground mining operations in South Australia, with FIFO roles from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. You will join maintenance teams responsible for diagnostics, repairs and preventative care on heavy equipment.

The opportunity offers a 2:2 roster, flights, accommodation and meals, and long-term progression with a leading mining contractor. You will work on modern heavy mining equipment in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Automotive Electrician trade qualification.
• Experience in underground hard rock mining is required.
• Experience on heavy vehicles, mobile plant or mining equipment is essential.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability is required.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for trade-qualified Auto Electricians to join established mining operations in South Australia.

These opportunities are across underground mining environments, working with national mining contractors across a range of modern mobile plant and mining equipment.

Successful candidates will join experienced maintenance teams responsible for diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on a range of heavy equipment.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will hold a recognised trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician and have current or recent experience working in underground hard rock mining.

• Experience working on heavy vehicles, mobile plant or mining equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
