Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is looking for a qualified Auto Electrician based in Perth to support operations across multiple sites. The role offers a flexible, ad-hoc roster and variety in a dynamic mining and construction environment.

You will diagnose electrical issues, maintain a broad range of machinery, and work across field and workshop settings while liaising with technical teams to drive improvements and deliver quality service to customers.

Formación

• Australian accredited Auto Electrical trade qualification.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Air-con handlers licence.
• Demonstrated experience working with mobile plant and heavy mining equipment.
• Ability and willingness to attend multiple sites as required.
• Strong understanding of mining equipment maintenance practices.
• Proactive safety mindset and hazard reduction.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic evaluations and electrical maintenance on Hitachi construction and mining machinery.
• Provide labour support across regional mine sites and Perth metro sites.
• Liaise with technical support staff to improve product performance.
• Complete service reporting and documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within your area.
• Field and/or workshop-based work as required.

The Opportunity

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking a qualified and motivated Auto Electrician based in Perth to support operations across multiple sites as required. This role offers a flexible, ad-hoc roster, ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, adaptability and working in diverse environments.

About The Role

• Performing diagnostic evaluations and electrical maintenance services on a broad range of Hitachi construction and mining machinery
• Providing labour support across multiple regional Mine site’s & Perth metro surrounding sites
• Liaising with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in ongoing product improvements
• Completing and submitting all required documentation and service reporting paperwork
• Maintaining strong working relationships with customers, peers and internal departments
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities within your area of responsibility
• Field and/or workshop-based work depending on operational requirements

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need

• Australian accredited Auto Electrical trade qualification
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Air-con handlers licence
• Demonstrated experience working with mobile plant and heavy mining equipment
• Ability and willingness to attend multiple sites as required
• Strong understanding of mining equipment maintenance practices
• A proactive approach to Workplace Health & Safety and hazard reduction
• Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving and technical skills
• Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
