Job summary

Active Tree Services is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Adelaide workshop. You will install and commission electrical systems on new truck builds, wire cranes, lifters and hydraulics, and diagnose faults across truck fleets and equipment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Auto Electrician trade certificate.
• Experience with heavy vehicles, transport equipment or mobile plant.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently.
• Sound knowledge of 12V and 24V electrical systems.
• Experience with hydraulic control systems would be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

Join a team that builds, installs and maintains some of the most specialised trucks on the road.

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our workshop team, working on a diverse range of truck-mounted equipment including truck cranes, hooklifters, skip loaders, tailgate lifters, hydraulic systems, lighting, electrical fit-outs and custom-built truck bodies.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem solving and seeing projects through from build to final delivery.

About the Role

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Installing and commissioning electrical systems on new truck builds.
• Wiring truck cranes, hooklifters, skip loaders and tailgate lifters.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on trucks and associated equipment.
