Job summary

Active Tree Services is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Adelaide workshop. You will install and commission electrical systems on new truck builds, wire cranes, lifters and hydraulics, and diagnose faults across truck fleets and equipment.

Collaboration with fabrication, hydraulic and mechanical teams is key to delivering high-quality builds. We value problem solving, attention to detail and a current driver's licence as you read wiring diagrams, service and repair a range of

Qualifications

• Qualified Auto Electrician trade certificate.
• Experience with heavy vehicles, transport equipment or mobile plant.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently.
• Sound knowledge of 12V and 24V electrical systems.
• Experience with hydraulic control systems would be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning electrical systems on new truck builds.
• Wiring truck cranes, hooklifters, skip loaders and tailgate lifters.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on trucks and associated equipment.
• Installing lighting, camera systems, safety equipment and auxiliary electrical components.
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Performing servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs on customer equipment.
• Working closely with fabrication, hydraulic and mechanical teams to deliver high-quality builds.
