A leading mining services company is seeking experienced Auto Electricians for their Mogalakwena Underground Project in South Africa. The ideal candidates will have extensive underground heavy mobile equipment experience, including Sandvik Automine, and a trade certificate in auto electrical work. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety policies, maintaining equipment, and mentoring South African personnel. Formación

• 5+ years working in an underground mining environment.
• All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates & licenses.

Responsabilidades

• Comply with Health Safety and Environmental policies.
• Liaison with Shift Supervisors to optimize site equipment.
• Carry out scheduled servicing to mobile equipment.
• Reporting on daily and weekly activity to Shift Supervisor;
• Completing breakdown maintenance tasks as directed by the Supervisor or from Work Order instructions, including attending to call outs when rostered ‘Duty on Call’;
• Carry out scheduled servicing to mobile equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with procedures, regulations and the service sheet;
• Actively participate in all safety activities and safety meetings;
• Working safely at all times, using correct personal protective equipment and following safety procedures;
• Ensuring relevant environmental considerations are considered from work orders, particularly hydrocarbon management (oil spills etc); and
• Demonstrate, develop and transfer all relevant skills to local site personnel on all aspects of Automotive electrical work.

About the Project

We are seeking experienced Auto Electricians for our Mogalakwena Underground Project in South Africa. We are interested in people who are passionate about sharing their skills and knowledge of Australian Mining methods and processes to transfer to the South African workforce. The Mogalakwena Mine is situated 30 kilometres north‑west of the town of Mokopane in the province of Limpopo.
