Job summary

Motofix Northampton is seeking a Workshop Controller to oversee the bodyshop’s efficient operation, maintain high repair standards, and deliver excellent customer service. You will plan workflows, maximise team performance, conduct quality checks, and keep customers updated on progress.

Collaborative and detail-driven professionals with MET, Panel, Paint experience and IMI qualifications preferred are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience managing bodyshop production teams.
• Knowledge of repair methods and workflow planning.
• Collaborative approach to ensure repairs are right first time.
• Willing to learn and adopt new technologies.
• IMI qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise workflows to optimise production efficiency.
• Maximise utilisation and performance of the production team.
• Conduct quality inspections to uphold repair standards.
• Update customers on repair methods, progress and dates.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Damage Assessors to improve sales and ops.
• Conduct staff performance reviews to support improvement.
• Drive customer excellence and contribute to profitability with Parts teams.
