Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in a technical field (CS, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering).
• 2–8+ years in roles such as: technical founder/early employee, software engineering, AI/ML research, or early-stage investing with technical bias.
• Interest and ability to work with cutting-edge AI tools and platforms; be SME for the investment team.
• Demonstrated founder empathy through direct experience or close work with founders.
• Strong product and AI/software ecosystem obsession; clear writing and communication skills.
• Genuine curiosity in emerging technologies, products, and people building them.
• Willingness to work across sourcing, diligence, portfolio support, and internal initiatives.
• Regional exposure (SEA, US, Australia, Greater China) and networks are valued; Australia-based candidates preferred.

Aufgaben

• Source and, over time, lead investments in early-stage software and AI/ML across Australia & Asia-Pacific.
• Conduct technical and commercial diligence with deep-dives into product architecture, team background, usage metrics, and GTM potential.
• Contribute to thesis development in software segments such as developer tools, SaaS infra, applied AI.
• Develop internal AI-forward tools and workflows to support decision-making and portfolio management.
• Engage with technical founders and academic/research talent across multiple regions.
• Support portfolio companies post-investment on strategic initiatives like product reviews and customer access.
• Contribute to firm-building activities (content, events, knowledge infra).
