Role includes 20–30% time building AI-native tooling and data-led portfolio management. Ideal candidates have entrepreneurial mindset, strong technical background, and capable communication.

Qualifications

• Candidate holds a technical degree from a top-tier university.
• 2–8+ years in technical founder roles, software/AI product roles or research.
• Interest in cutting-edge AI tools and platforms as subject-matter expert.
• Proven founder empathy and experience working with founders.
• Strong ability to write, think, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Source and lead investments in early-stage software and AI/ML across Australia & Asia-Pacific.
• Conduct technical and commercial diligence focusing on product architecture and team background.
• Develop thesis in software segments like developer tooling, SaaS infra, applied AI.
• Create internal AI-forward tools to assist investment decisions and portfolio mgmt.
• Engage with technical founders and academic talent across SEA, Australia, US, and China.
• Support portfolio companies post-investment on strategic initiatives.
