Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager for Australia to lead HR strategy, partner with regional leaders, and drive people initiatives across talent acquisition, performance, compensation, and compliance.

The role requires extensive HR experience in Australia and close collaboration with APAC and global HR teams. The position involves travel 5–10% and a focus on delivering a consistent teammate experience in a dynamic, global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of HR experience, including HR Business Partnering.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field.
• Postgraduate HR qualifications preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of country employment laws and safety protocols.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to influence at leadership level.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into HR solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes in a growing environment.
• Eye for spotting talent and trends in human capital/workplace design.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with applicant tracking, LMS and HR systems preferable.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HR Business Partnership: be accountable for people results and work with leaders on policy and performance issues.
• Talent acquisition: lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding across Australia, improve employer branding.
• Performance management: manage annual reviews and support development plans.
• Compensation & benefits: administer programs with global and APAC alignment.
• Learning & development: identify gaps, coordinate leadership programs and promote career growth.
• HR operations & compliance: ensure regulatory compliance, maintain records and support audits.
• HR reporting & analytics: prepare metrics and analyze turnover, engagement, and recruitment effectiveness.
