Qualifications

• CPA, CA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as Finance Director / Controller for an Australian entity.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax, and reporting.
• Experience managing external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting large-scale capital projects in manufacturing/tech/industrial contexts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic finance partner to the Australia Site Leader and cross-functional leadership for design, construction and readiness of the Australian facility.
• Partner with Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Facilities, Supply Chain and PM to deliver site capabilities for a fault-tolerant quantum computer.
• Lead financial planning and oversight for capital expenditures including construction, equipment, infrastructure and utilities.
• Develop multi-year capital investment plans, project forecasts, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses for executive decision-making.
• Partner with business leaders to develop operating budgets and workforce plans for the transition from construction to manufacturing and operations.
