Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families in Brisbane seeks an Audit and Compliance Advisor to strengthen governance and assurance across aged care services. You will lead the audit framework, oversee compliance, and support regulatory readiness.

You will apply risk-based thinking to assurance activities, identify trends, and provide insights to reduce risk and improve outcomes for residents and clients. Strong collaboration with Quality Managers is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and governing enterprise audit frameworks.
• Proven ability to produce executive/board-level assurance reporting.
• Strong understanding of aged care legislation and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the audit and assurance framework.
• Provide independent oversight of compliance and governance systems.
• Coordinate external regulatory engagements and submissions.
• Interpret and apply the Aged Care Act and quality standards.
