Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Practice Lead to join the centralised Clinical Care Governance and Risk team. You will embed the BlueCare Quality framework to drive consumer experience and continuous improvement in residential services, reviewing policies and tools to ensure safe, high-quality care.

You will lead governance efforts, apply regulatory knowledge, and collaborate across the organisation, with travel across Queensland and ongoing professional registration requirements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Nursing/Allied Health.
• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.
• Broad management or clinical experience in service delivery and quality systems in aged, community care or health sectors.
• Knowledge of legislative, regulatory and funding requirements, professional standards, guidelines and best practice relevant to the Aged Care environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous quality improvement practices and ability to deliver innovative outcomes.
• Sound understanding of resident/person-centred care and residential-based services delivery.
• Willingness and ability to travel to locations in Queensland.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Embed the BlueCare Quality framework to improve Consumer Experience and Continuous Improvement in residential services.
• Review and develop Policies, Procedures and tools to support Quality Safe Care aligned to best practice and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate across the organisation to share learnings and innovations.
• Lead best practice and ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Support service delivery and quality systems in aged care.
