Overview

Audio-Visual Support Officer role at City of Moreton Bay. This range is provided by City of Moreton Bay. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Location: Strathpine. Employment type: Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight. Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.

Base pay range

A$86,000.00/yr - A$95,000.00/yr

Role details

• Position: Audio-Visual Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage AV support requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues on-site.
• Design, configure, and support AV systems for meetings, MS Teams rooms, and Council events.
• Manage AV equipment lifecycle and procurement.
• Collaborate on Council projects and events to deliver seamless AV services.
• Maintain accurate ICT asset records and documentation.
• Engage with external AV vendors and work within budget requirements.
• Review and improve AV-related procedures and processes.

About you

You will be a tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively and provides high-quality support. With a strong foundation in Audio-Visual systems and technical support, you will have a customer-focused mindset and be ready to take ownership of technical challenges.

Qualifications and requirements

• Proven experience in audio-visual operations and technical support.
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence (travel to sites required when necessary).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switches, routers, patching, DHCP and VPN.
• Strong computer literacy, including OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Apple OS.
• Good understanding of AV principles and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with users and vendors.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise.
