Job summary

Successful applicants will receive specialised training and exposure to leading AV technology providers, in a foundation role that can lead to project management, system programming, or sales support.

Qualifications

• Construction white card (can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling and terminate various cable types.
• Install large LCD displays and projection screens.
• Install speakers, microphones and PTZ cameras; calibrate audio.
• Build equipment racks and stage off-site systems.
• Deploy video conference systems and document project work.
• Service systems and deploy documentation.
• Commission systems and deploy software.
• Grow into specialised fields such as project management or system engineering.
• Role can be part-time or casual.

Hart Automation delivers professional audio-visual installation services to the education, private and government sectors.

We are seeking people who have a strong interest in electronic Integration or technical troubleshooting aiming to kickstart or move into to a successful career in Audio Visual Installation Services.

We work within the corporate and higher education markets installing integrated audio visual systems into boardrooms, lecture theatres, video conference rooms and training spaces.

Role description and duties

Prior Experience and qualifications will be considered but are not necessary.

The role will include the following tasks;

• Installation of structured cabling.
• Termination of various cable types.
• Installation of large LCD display and projection screens.
• Installation of Speaker, microphone and PTZ camera's.
• Audio set up & calibration.
• Equipment rack building and off site system staging.
• Video conference system deployment.
• System servicing and project documentation deployment.
• System commissioning and software deployment.

Working within a creative educated workplace that values on-site learning.

This position provides the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most technically advanced audio-visual projects within Australia.

Specialised training will be provided to successful applicants in line with industry standards.

Exposure to the leading AV technology providers and trainers.

This is a foundation role within the audio visual installation industry with the ability to grow into specialised fields inclusive of Project management, System programming, System engineering, Sales management, Audio programming and Product consultation.

Role can be suited to part time or casual availability.

Role requirements

• Basic hand-tool and manual handling ability.
• A keen interest in the audio-visual industry with the ambition to learn continuously.
• A passion for providing high level customer service & technical support.
• Current open manual drivers licence with own reliable transport.
• Construction white card (can be provided for suitable candidate).
