Job summary

Complete Care Team - Blacktown is seeking Disability Support Workers to deliver client-centred care to people with ABI and high support needs in home settings across Ingleburn and surrounding areas.

You will provide personal care, assist with physiotherapy exercises, appointments, shopping and activities, with a flexible weekend/night shift availability.

Qualifications

• AIN III / Cert IV, EN, RN, Allied health student or experience working with clients with a disability, ABI, Dementia and/or high support needs
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current National Police Check – within last 6 months
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Willing to deliver the company’s client-centred care program which includes the client’s clinical care, personal care, physiotherapy & exercise programs, appointments, vocational assistance, shopping, domestic duties and recreational activities, etc.
• Flexible attitude with good availability including weekends and night shifts

Complete Care Team – Blacktown Office is a Private Nursing Agency committed in providing consistent quality nursing and attendant care to clients with acquired brain injury (ABI), and high support needs in their own homes.

We achieve quality holistic service for our clients by investing in our staff with orientation and training programs.

We are looking for Disability Support Workers who are passionate about providing high quality services to the people they support.

About You

Due to client preference- Female workers of Polynesian/New Zealand background are strongly encouraged to apply

AINs, ACWs, Cert-III, Cert-IV or Allied Health graduates / students

Willing to work in various locations including Ingleburn to assist clients with ABI and high support needs living in their homes

Experience with challenging behaviours

Flexible attitude with good availability including weekends and night shifts

Willingness to travel
