Complete Care Team in Merrylands is seeking a Farsi-speaking female Attendant Care Worker to join our NSW team on a casual basis. You will provide personal care, mobility support, domestic tasks and community access, helping clients achieve daily goals with person-centred care.

The role requires empathy, reliable transport, and good communication. Fluency in Farsi is essential. You will work across our Merrylands and wider Blacktown area with support from the team.

• Salary - $36.63 - $41.82 plus super

Complete Care Team is a highly respected company that was established in 1999. We specialise in supporting community-based clients with disabilities and in particular clients with complex care needs, including people with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and spinal injuries. We focus on all aspects of our client’s needs, providing a quality home based person-centred service which puts clients at the centre of the decision making and planning process to help identify and achieve their goals.

The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, caring, tolerant and a dedicated carer. Have exceptional verbal, written communication and listening skills with a deep understanding of person-centred care. They will have a willingness to learn, be punctual, reliable and have strong problem-solving abilities. In addition, they should be able to work both independently and within a team.

Duties may vary to suit the needs of the individual clients. This may include however are not limited to:

• Personal care – showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
• Manual handling – wheelchair transfers, hoisting
• Domestic duties – housework, laundry and meal preparation
• Community access – transporting clients to shopping, doctors appointments and social activities
• NDIS Worker Check
• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• First Aid Certificate
• Working rights in Australia
• Drivers License
• Reliable insured vehicle

Preferred but not essential:

• Industry experience will be highly regarded
• An understanding of person centred disability care and Acquired Brain Injury
• Quality ongoing training is provided and paid for
• Buddy shifts and meet and greet with clients
