Job summary

Westpac Group is seeking an Assistant Transaction Relationship Manager (ATRM) to support Global Transaction Services clients by coordinating deal flow, pricing and approvals. The role is execution and administration focused, not a standalone salesperson position, with a clear pathway to a Transaction Relationship Manager role.

The successful candidate will work in Perth, with a minimum of three days in the office each week, helping TRMs progress portfolios while developing their own

Qualifications

• Experience supporting clients in banking, financial services or another complex service environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to organise competing priorities, follow client requests through to completion and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Practical understanding of transactional banking products, lending, or financial markets, or interest in building this knowledge.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with sound judgment and a focus on improving the client experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide execution, coordination and administrative support to Transaction Relationship Managers (TRMs).
• Assist with end-to-end deal lifecycle coordination, pricing, solutioning, internal approvals and stakeholder follow-up.
• Support TRMs to progress portfolio activity, new business and transformation opportunities across portfolios.
• Independently manage a small portfolio of clients and develop pathway into a TRM sales role.
