Job summary

Westpac is seeking an Assistant Transaction Relationship Manager (ATRM) in Melbourne to support Global Transaction Services clients by coordinating with Transaction Relationship Managers. This role provides execution, coordination and administrative support through the deal lifecycle, including pricing, risk, documentation and approvals.

You will gradually manage a small portfolio, develop client relationships and gain exposure to transactional banking products.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting clients in banking or financial services.
• Strong relationship-building and communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to organise competing priorities, follow client requests through to completion and maintain attention to detail.
• Understanding of transactional banking products, lending or financial markets.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset focused on improving client experience.

Responsibilities

• Support TRMs with end-to-end deal lifecycle coordination.
• Coordinate pricing, risk, documentation and internal approvals.
• Manage portfolio activity and stakeholder follow-up to progress deals.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Potential pathway to a TRM sales role after 18–24 months.
