Job summary

Lucasfilm Entertainment Company Ltd. LLC, operating ILM Sydney, seeks an Associate Pipeline Technical Director to develop and maintain pipeline tools and support artists in a fast-paced feature film VFX setting.

You will partner with Show CG Supervisors, engineers, and global ILM studios, applying Python and core DCCs (Maya, Nuke, Houdini) while documenting workflows and driving pipeline improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and document pipeline tools to meet show demands.
• Provide front-line support for artists and troubleshoot production workflows.
• Test and validate software updates and workflows in production.
• Collaborate with artists, production supervisors, and technical staff across ILM locations.
