Job summary

Vectura Recruitment Pty Ltd in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an Associate Partner to lead engineering and capital projects within Manufacturing practice across ANZ. The role combines delivery credibility on major capital projects with business development capability, reporting into the Partner group.

You will own delivery of complex manufacturing expansions, manage client relationships, and travel regularly across Australia, NZ and internationally.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years' experience, including delivery of one or more $50M+ greenfield or major capital projects.
• Qualified engineer (chartered or working toward it).
• Demonstrated business development or sales track record alongside strong technical delivery credibility.
• Background as a client-side Chief Engineer, Project Director or senior consultant in manufacturing, FMCG, process or petrochem.
• Willing to travel frequently, interstate and occasionally overseas. Consulting experience valued, not essential.

Responsibilities

• Represent the firm in client pitches and sales meetings, converting warm leads into engagements alongside Partners.
• Own delivery of complex manufacturing expansion and capital projects, including engagements valued at $50M+.
• Manage client relationships and overall scope on major engagements, with construction contracted to specialist partners.
• Work with the internal Service Methods lead to bring proprietary methodology and IP to market.
• Lead and develop two to three consultants, including regular check-ins and formal performance reviews.
• Apply strong commercial judgement to scoping, pricing and delivery so engagements are technically and commercially sound.
• Travel regularly, often at short notice, to client sites across Australia, NZ and internationally.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across brewing, food and broader manufacturing clients.

Vectura Recruitment is partnering with a leading global management consultancy, operating across supply chain, procurement, manufacturing and operations, to appoint an Associate Partner to lead engineering and capital projects work within its Manufacturing practice across ANZ. • Qualified engineer (BEng / MEng or equivalent), ideally chartered or working toward it.
• Around 15-20 years' experience, including delivery of one or more $50M+ greenfield or major capital projects.
• Demonstrated business development or sales track record alongside strong technical delivery credibility.
• Background as a client-side Chief Engineer, Project Director or senior consultant in manufacturing, FMCG, process or petrochem.
• Strong commercial acumen; comfortable at consulting pace and working through ambiguity.
• Willing to travel frequently, interstate and occasionally overseas. Prior consulting experience valued, not essential.
• Overseas candidates open to relocation, with visa sponsorship, are encouraged to apply.
