Yorke and Northern Local Health Network's Maitland Hospital is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead nursing teams, support day-to-day service delivery, and drive continuous improvement across patient care.

Permanent part-time (24 hours/week) and temporary part-time (up to 17 January 2028, 16 hours/week) contracts are available. Requires RN with practising certificate, strong leadership, and experience in recruitment/rostering; salary package includes super and penalties.

Responsibilities

• Promoting continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with our team.
• Assisting in the implementation of practice changes under the guidance of our Nurse Unit Manager.
• Providing leadership of nursing/midwives in the health service in support of the Nurse Unit Manager.
• Undertaking management responsibilities such as performance management, recruitment, rostering, and financial planning.
