Maitland Hospital in SA Health invites applications for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. You will support clinical leadership, coordinate teams, mentor staff and help deliver high-quality nursing care across services.

Permanent Part Time Contract - 24 hours per week; Temporary Part Time Contract (up to 17 January 2028) - 16 hours per week. Salary: RN/M2A - $109,637 to $117,215 p.a. (pro rata) + super + penalties + salary sacrifice packaging.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia, with a practising certificate.
• Strong leadership, communication and education skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Promoting continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with our team
• Assisting in the implementation of practice changes under the guidance of our Nurse Unit Manager
• Providing leadership of nursing/midwives in the health service in support of the Nurse Unit Manager
• Undertaking management responsibilities such as performance management, recruitment, rostering, and financial planning.
