Job summary
The UNSW Lifestyle Clinic, an initiative of UNSW Medicine & Health, delivers lifestyle assessment and change programs, focusing on preventative health and rehabilitation. Based in Randwick, this on-site role combines clinical practice with student supervision in Exercise Physiology and Exercise Science.
As Associate Lecturer, you will deliver clinical services, teach and supervise students, assess learning outcomes, and contribute to the design and delivery of teaching and assessment practices.
Qualifications
- A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
- Accredited in Exercise Physiology with Exercise and Sports Science Australia.
- Knowledge and experience delivering person-centred clinical care.
- Keeps up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development.
- Experience in clinical teaching and assessment at undergraduate/postgraduate level.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and curriculum design experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical services in Lifestyle Clinic.
- Provide teaching and clinical supervision to students.
- Assess student learning outcomes.
- Contribute to teaching design and assessment practices.
- Offer individual and group academic support to enhance progression and employability.
