Job summary
UNSW Lifestyle Clinic, part of UNSW Medicine & Health, invites applications for Associate Lecturer, Lifestyle. The role blends clinical service delivery with student supervision and teaching within Exercise Physiology and Exercise Science.
You will assess student learning outcomes and contribute to teaching design and assessment practices, aiming to enhance progression and employability. The position is onsite in Randwick, NSW.
Qualifications
- A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
- Accredited in Exercise Physiology with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
- Knowledge and experience across a breadth of clinical practice to deliver person-centred care.
- Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and curriculum design in clinical education.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry or work-integrated learning (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical services and supervise students.
- Teach and assess students; contribute to teaching practices.
- Provide individual and cohort-based academic support to enhance progression.
- Design and deliver teaching and assessment activities.
