Job summary
UNSW invites applications for a part-time Lecturer in Medicine, Education Focused, delivering high-quality teaching and clinical education for undergraduate Medicine. Based primarily at Sutherland Hospital, you will coordinate and deliver internal medicine training, contributing to the Medicine Program and Discipline at St George and Sutherland Clinical Campuses.
You will support educational excellence through innovative teaching, learning activities, assessments, and student engagement,
Qualifications
- Registered medical practitioner with AHPRA.
- Fellowship from Australasian Specialist Medical College.
- PhD in related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Maintain SESLHD clinical appointment to teach.
- Active up-to-date discipline knowledge and professional development.
- Experience in teaching and learning design for undergrad/postgrad.
- Experience with educational technologies and online delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and clinical education in undergraduate Medicine.
- Coordinate and contribute to internal medicine training across clinical campuses.
- Support student engagement and academic progression.
- Ensure quality assurance of learning activities and assessments.
