Job summary

AECOM in Perth seeks an Associate Director, Drainage to lead bids and client engagement across major rail projects in Western Australia. You will shape win strategies, represent the firm to clients, and drive growth while coordinating pursuits with project teams.

The role requires strong leadership, governance across bids, and an ability to nurture senior client relationships in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• CPEng accreditation is essential.
• Strong background in rail infrastructure with end-to-end rail systems knowledge.
• Proven experience in business development and shaping opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to high quality bid responses, including shaping win strategy and written submissions.
• Act as a key client interface, representing AECOM across major rail projects.
• Nurture and maintain existing client relationships while identifying growth opportunities.
• Support selling and positioning of project outcomes and team capability to clients.
• Participate in conferences, industry forums and client events.
• Work flexibly across pursuits and live projects as needed.
