Job summary

AECO M? Wait company name from HTML is AECOM. AECOM in Perth is seeking a Principal Drainage Engineer with 10+ years' experience to lead drainage design and hydraulic modelling on major projects. Hybrid work with relocation support is available and you will mentor a multidisciplinary team across water projects.

You will deliver 12D-based drainage designs, stormwater plans and hydraulic analyses, engaging with clients and regulators while ensuring compliance with Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Around 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience in planning, hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater and drainage networks.
• Strong capability across underground and surface water drainage systems.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure projects within a consulting environment.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership, design review and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Technical delivery of drainage designs, stormwater management plans and hydraulic assessments for major infrastructure.
• Provide expert input into hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using 12D and DRAINS.
• Develop practical and innovative solutions to drainage, flooding and water quality challenges.
• Review and approve engineering designs, models and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor engineers and support project delivery, client engagement and win work.
